On Sunday 5th February eight Sligo Grammar School students travelled to Longford for the Connacht Schools Swim Gala. All the SGS students turned in great performances in the Individual and Relay events. A special mention goes to Matthew O’Grady who won a Bronze medal in the 100m Breaststroke, and Gold in the 100m Backstroke. Matthew now qualifies to represent Connacht in the upcoming Nationals. Thank you to all the students and parents who travelled and to Mr Cradock for organising it.
