On Wednesday 22nd Jan. The school gathered in Calry Church for a Special Assembly to mark Christian Unity Week. The school welcomed staff and students from Summerhill College, Sligo who took part in the Assembly. The Assembly was led by Canon Patrick Bamber and special guest ,Mr. Paul Keogh, Principal of Summerhill College, addressed the congregation. In his address Mr. Keogh urged the students to follow their dreams and realise that although it may take time and effort it will always be worthwhile. He also spoke about unity in society and reminded us that when we look closely we will realise that people have more in common than we might at first realise. Music was provided by the choir and school musicians. Afterwards our guests joined some of the staff and students for coffee in the Library. Some photos can be seen HERE
