On Friday October 7th Sligo Grammar School had a “Funky shoes and Socks” Day. The event was organised by Leaving Cert LCVP students as a fundraiser for The Samaritans. The day was in association with World Mental Health day and students and teachers were asked to wear their most creative shoes and socks for the day. Participating students brought in €2 each for the charity and a total of €513 was raised. Well done to the organisers and all who took part in the fun! See some photos HERE
