A Bright Academic Future

Two of our Leaving Cert. students, Eoghan Donoghue and Paddy Bird, are set for a bright future in academia. Both students have been conditionally accepted to prestigious Universities in the United Kingdom. Eoghan is set to attend Imperial College, London. Imperial is one of the foremost Universities, ranked 8th in the world, focussing solely on medicine, engineering, science and business. Eoghan hopes to study Maths with Mathematical Physics. He submitted his application through UCAS and his Personal Statement was a key element in his successful application. He will have to sit two special STEP maths exams in June. Paddy is setting his sights on Homerton College, Cambridge where he will study Law. The application procedure included undergoing two interviews as well as sitting an essay-based exam. Both Paddy and Eoghan have an excellent academic record in the school. They will need top marks in their Leaving Cert. exams in order to secure their places, but we have full confidence in the boys!
