Leaving Cert. student, James Devaney, has been offered a place in Harvard College, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, starting in the next academic year. The school is very proud of James’ achievement and wishes him all the very best in Harvard. James had to complete a rigorous application process in order to be considered for a place in the Arts and Humanities school at this most prestigious of Universities. For his application James had to write over 10 essays as well as sit his SATs – the standard tests for college admission in the USA. Throughout his time in SGS James has worked hard and has produced consistently excellent academic results. He is, of course, delighted that all the hard work has paid off and that he is going on to study in one of the foremost universities in the world. Well done, James and we wish you all the best in your Leaving Cert exams and in your future studies.
