Mini-Companies have been an integral part of the Business Studies classes in Sligo Grammar School for the past number of years. This year is no different, as 1st, 2nd and TY classes are involved in the activity. The TY group set up a company making and marketing chopping boards while 2nd years were runners-up in the Sligo Young Enterprise competition with their jewelry-making business. It was the 1st year group, however who came first in the Sligo competition with their company “Magmojis”, making earrings, brooches and fridge magnets in the shape of emojis. They will represent Sligo at the National finals.
